The Subspace Gunship comes out of Subspace before the Battle of Subspace.
Entrance to Subspace is the twenty-eighth stage of the Subspace Emissary story. It is unlocked after the second part of The Subspace Bomb Factory is completed. This stage is not unlocked in Free Play until the first part of Subspace is completed. After this stage is completed, no other stage can be played but the first part of Subspace.

Story[]
The Subspace Gunship comes out of Subspace and takesover another place. The leaders reveal to be Bowser and Ganondorf. When Ganondorf sees Halberd, he orders the Gunship to attack it. One of the shots strike through Halberd destroying it. However, mini-ships come out and attack the Gunship. The Gunship attempts to shoot the mini-ships. Unaware, Kirby and his Dragoon strike through the Gunship destroying the Gunship as Kirby and the Mini-Ships go in Subspace.
When they arrive, they prepare for a battle for a thing that they have never imagined before.
Before Bowser and Ganondorf meet with Master Hand, Ganondorf turns Bowser into a Trophy and kicks him out of the way. As Ganondorf meets with Master Hand, Ganondorf senses Master Hand being controlled. He looks up and sees Master Hand attached to strings that belong to a evil spirit villain named Tabuu. Ganondorf goes to attack but Tabuu deflects it and he hits Master Hand freeing him and turning Ganondorf into a trophy. Master Hand goes to attack Tabuu be his attack is deflected and he is killed. Everyone sees this and prepare to attack Tabuu. However, Tabuu releases his Wing Attack and turns everybody into a trophy. Tabuu also combines all the worlds in World of Trophies and creates the Great Maze which also makes the stairway that leads to the Great Maze.
