Path to the Ruins is the Twelth Stage of the Subspace Emissary Story. It is the First Part of the 2 Part Pokemon Collecting Story. It is unlocked after the Lake Shore is beaten. When Entrance to Subspace is beaten, it will be locked until the player beats the First Part of Subspace. Completing it unlocks The Cave.

Story[]
As Charizard flies to the Peak of the Ruins, Lucas and Pokemon Trainer watch. Pokemon Trainer tells Lucas that he has 2 more Pokemons to collect-Ivysaur and Charizard. They then set out a mission to collect the missing Pokemon.
Before they enter the Chamber, Wario attacks the duo. Lucas remembers what he did to Ness and plans revenge. Lucas and Pokemon Trainer then battle Wario once again.
After defeating Wario, he turns into the Trophy. Lucas wonders where Ness is. Pokemon Trainer comforts him and predicts that he might be inside the Chamber.

- Section A: Inside the Castle Dedede, King Dedede pins 3 badges on Luigi, Ness, and Zelda. The roof suddenly falls and knocks and turns Dedede into a trophy. Bowser and his Koopa Troop find the Princess who suddenly finds Zelda.
