Mario standing by a ? block in the level
World 2-3 is the third level of World 2 of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It is also the only underground level in the World. It is unlocked by completing World 2-1 or World 2-2. Completing this unlocks World 2-Tower.
Level[]
The level starts out at a place with 3 blocks and a spiny. Then, as the player moves on, the player sees a ? block on top of platforms on top of a pipe. Then, the player must go in a pipe to be taken underground. Then, there are several fireballs moving toward the left side of the screen. Then, there are some Venus Fire Traps and pipes visible. Then, there are several Fire Snakes. After obtaining a star, there is a pyramid holding the first star coin guarded by 2 fire snakes. Then, there is the checkpoint with 2 platforms above 3 Venus Fire Traps. Then, there is a Fire Bro. throwing Fireballs toward the second star coin. After that is more platforms and more Venus Fire Traps. Then, there is the pipe leading to the end of the level. Then, there is the flagpole.
Star Coins[]
- Star Coin 1: Before the checkpoint, there are 2 pyramids. On the left pyramid with the fire snakes, the star coin can be visible.
- Star Coin 2: When the player gets to the Fire Bro., his fireballs are moving toward the star coin.
- Star Coin 3: Before the second to last venus fire trap, go on the platform. Jump on the higher platform and continue running until the player sees the last star coin and a pipe.
