World 2-Tower is the fourth level of World 2 of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. It is the Tower level in the world. The boss is Roy Koopa. This level is the first level where a Koopaling throws fireballs in a place other than a boss fight. It is unlocked by completing World 2-3. Completing it unlocks World 2-4 and a Green Toad House.


StoryEdit

When Mario enters the Tower, Roy goes in the tower after standing on the roof and goes to hiding location. When Mario finds his hiding location, he roars at Mario. After he is defeated, Mario cheers. Roy then wakes up and then jumps out of the tower and goes to the Castle.

LevelEdit

At first, Mario is at the bottom of the tower trying to get to the top of the tower. Mario starts out below a fence where Mario can go up. Then are more fences and 2 doors. Then, there are 2 optional sides, both with moving fences and coins. Then, there is the same. Then, there is another optional side, one with a star coin and one with more coins and platforms. At this point, Roy will start trying to blast purple fireballs at Mario. Then, there are more dry bones and a door. Entering the door will lead to the checkpoint. As Mario continues to go up, Mario will see moving fences and spikes with more dry bones. Continuing will lead to a POW block. Then, there are more Dry Bones. Continuing will see another star coin which can be reached by reaching a moving fence under some spikes. Then, there are more spikes and then the red door which Mario can go into to do the boss fight.

When Mario encounters Roy, he roars at him. The characters must fight on a platform that is between 2 pits filled with sand. At first Roy wants to ground pound which Mario must avoid by jumping or get stunned. Then, Roy will try to throw a fireball at him. Then, if Roy is jumped on, he will retreat into his shell and start rolling around the platform. Then, he will come out and repeat his patterns. Three jumps or eighteen fireballs will defeat him.


Star CoinsEdit

  • Star Coin 1: Before the end of the first room, at the last set of moving fences, go to the left wall and continuing sliding until you reach the coin.
  • Star Coin 2: After reaching the checkpoint, continuing going right into a wall.
  • Star Coin 3: Before the end of the last room, at the last set of moving fences, go to the second from left one from underneath to reach the star coin.
